Well, due to the Blog site being down for a few days AND very slow wifi at a few places, it is going to take me a bit to catch up with the proper date here!!!
We left Dease Lake Sunday the 18th and drove down to Stewart/Hyder. Beautiful scenery as usual along the way!
This bear wandered across the road in front of us, then just stood and watched us go on by... Sorry it is out of focus - I took the pic out the back driver's side window on the FLY! lol!
We saw the sign for Stewart and Hyder about 30 miles before we got there.
Then we began seeing glaciers, MANY of them and this one was right down to the lake... BEAUTIFUL!
Got to our campground in late afternoon.. Stayed at Bear River RV Park, Wifi not too bad past midnight or so, and GREAT cable! $38.00 FHU. VERY quiet at night! Right at the edge of town so we were able to go exploring the area, come home for lunch, and go out again for the afternoon.
Grass between sites, and lots of room between sites.
Will be ready to explore more in the morning!
