Went back out to Fish Creek again today - HOPING to see bears, but as before, NO SHOW at the Fishing bridge, so I took a few more pix of the beautiful Lagoon - trying for JUST the right light and clarity.....
Then we decided to drive up farther on the same road where Fish Creek Tongass first area.. Saw Salmon Glacier from a distance.

Funny, we saw a few ice chunks laying in the creek bed - STILL not melted from the Spring thaw!
The road up to Salmon Glacier was ONE lane, and VERY narrow and scary.. so we did not go all the way up to the Glacier.... OK, So I am a CHICKEN! In a Jeep or quad runner, MAYBE, but not in a Dually!!!! This picture is looking out of my window STRAIGHT DOWN!!! Now you see what I am talking about??????
More tomorrow! NOW it is time for a 'calming liquid refreshment......
