Saw pretty much the same vista all day today, coming from Dawson Creek to Fort Nelson.. Rolling hills, 6% grades and small mountains, repeat~!! Today was not too bad as far as ruts and bumps in the road... GOOD! Wifi is not so good, but we were lucky to get in at 3:00 this afternoon, without a reservation!
Here is some of what we saw - VERY few houses, towns or service stations - VERY remote from ANYTHING! Temp started out about 50 degrees and finally got up to 66, when we got closer to Fort Nelson.
Tonight we are at Triple G's campground ($40.00 per night) in Fort Nelson for just the night - small town with not much to see, so glad we still have food in fridge and freezer and canned goods supply! Den ran for fuel just now and it was $1.37 per liter ... not too bad! We have been seeing it MUCH higher along the way
Rig is FILTHY, but so is everyone else's !! LOL! Here we are in our campground, much more room than last night and gravel sites, no mud!
Hopefully, tomorrow night we will have better wifi - right now I am finishing this on my ipad 3g thing as the Hotspot~
