Our Adventure Continues, Alaska and Beyond: On the way to Yosemite and our FIRST day!!!

Sorry I have not been able to post, no wifi in Yosemite !! These are just a FEW of the 300 or so pictures that I took!

Here is a beautiful lake, near Don Pedro Reservoir in California on our way to Yosemite!

As you turn around in that area, you see a much different scene..

And a closeup of the Granite texture, which I find very pretty.

And our scene outside the camper as we stopped for lunch, So pretty!

More snippets of the wonderful scenery.

And FINALLY, we got to the YOSEMITE entrance!!

And one of the First neat things we saw was Tunnel Rock and Yes, we DID fit into it with our Truck and 5th wheel!

One of the Great Textures, that I seem to be drawn to..... this is a Cedar tree.

And Bridal Veil Falls, although not much water is flowing now, due to the dry season they have had here.. this year......

Another Texture shot, as this was a stump with an opening in it....

And I am not sure if someone PAINTED this "Snoopy" on the wall or if it was just a lighter colored rock, but it was maybe 300 FEET off the ground!!!!!!!!

LOVE the texture of the bark on this tree!

We saw several deer in a meadow and some of them decided to walk right across the road, not minding at all that they were holding up traffic! I didn't mind EITHER!

And our FIRST view of El Capitan!!!! Amazing!!!

In the valley, there was a meadow with a stream running through, at the Swinging bridge (which no longer swings, BTW! and some Sweet person placed these rocks in the shallow stream, to impress his Sweetheart! Since our Anniversary was coming up SOON, I thought it was especially Sweet!!!!
